Boca Lago, Boca Raton

The eight Boca Lago subdivisions.

Compare the exact Boca Lago association before you compare the individual home.

Eight separate associations

Boca Lago is not one interchangeable community.

Boca Lago is organized into eight distinct subdivisions. Each has its own association structure, documents, costs, rules, and approval process, so the right comparison begins with the exact section.

Seven sections are age-restricted. Horizons is identified as all ages. Pet rules also differ, with Glades identified as the 55+ section allowing one small pet.

Before you choose

Compare the exact association package, not a Boca Lago average.

Request the current budget, reserves, insurance information, monthly assessment and inclusions, assessment history, approval process, rental policy, parking rules, and maintenance responsibilities for the exact subdivision and residence.

Country club membership is optional, not a requirement of ownership. Confirm the current membership options directly with the club if they are important to your decision.

One-time closing cost

Ask about the capital contribution before you make an offer.

Some associations require a one-time capital contribution or transfer fee at closing. It is separate from the monthly association fee and can apply to a master association, a neighborhood association, or both.

Confirm the current amount, who pays it, when it is due, and whether it is refundable for the exact home. Association requirements can change, so rely on the current written association package before you commit.
